TSC Simulation

TSC is one of the world’s leading independent suppliers of dynamic process simulation models for use in training and engineering performance studies. We supply simulation models for every level of process knowledge and training:

  • From the initial basic introduction of process to youngsters in schools
  • Simulation models of process plant items for underpinning knowledge
  • Advanced plant systems for control room operator training
  • Site specific models which emulate and replicate your individual system
  • Engineering quality modelling allows for dynamic performance studies
  • Models specifically designed for emergency response competence assessment.

TSC specialises in dynamic process simulation for upstream oil and gas production treatment and export. TSC also provides engineering level models in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and nuclear material processing industries.

A full training support solution from one supplier

The complete TSC solution is built around a 34 year history of engineering quality simulation software which is able to run on a standard PC under Windows. The high productivity of the TSC total solution will save you money:

  • TSC’s range may be run on standard PCs, either stand-alone, or in classrooms, or in the TSC Virtual Control Room. The same PC may be used at any training level.
  • Trainees move seamlessly from the introductory level to advanced competence assessment using the same TSC interface. No time is wasted training different interfaces and user guides.
  • Trainers use the same TSC system menus and facilities at all levels of training – so much easier for the trainer!
  • Our learning tools have been developed over a 20 year period in conjunction with trainers at Shell, BP and ExxonMobil to optimise training capability.
  • The TSC generic DCS interface incorporates the best features of all the majors – Emerson, Honeywell, Foxboro, ABB, Yokogawa, etc. This allows trainees to move onto actual plant DCS system and graphics with the least difficulty.

Classroom based desktop process units with DCS control

NEW FOR THIS EVENT
TSC is proud to announce the development of a series of “hands on learning tools” to bring process learning into reality with 2 new desk-top training solutions. The Industrial Process Control unit and the fully operational desk top Three Phase Separator are now available as hugely powerful training tools. They each use a fully operational DCS package running on an associated PC that can be connected to either of the systems, or used independently as stand-alone simulated models, in a fully safe and controlled learning environment.

Our Workshop on Wednesday from 12.00pm to 1.30pm will include a full demonstration of the training capabilities of the Three Phase Separator system.

We are on Stand No.3 in the exhibition area and will be pleased to give you a demonstration of the new Three Phase Separator training tool and how TSC can provide solutions for every area of your training needs.
