During these days more than 125 specialists in Training & Simulation from the Oil & Gas Industry, from over 20 different countries, attended our Forum where expert speakers from the industry gave presentations about the latest developments in the use of technology and simulation in training.

Leading companies in the Oil & Gas industry like BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Technip, Statoil and Gazprom presented their strategies and operations in place in this area alongside speakers from Heriot-Watt University and Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. The audience also enjoyed demos and presentations from expert service and solution providers to find out in what area and how they will be able to maximize the efficiency in their training and HR departments. The latest technologies, Operator training Simulators, Immersive Training Simulators, Dynamic Simulation, current projects, 3D visualization and simulation, Training for Teamwork, strategies and focus points for the present and future were presented.

During the coffee and networking breaks, attendees were networking with our sponsors and exhibitors and amongst themselves in the exhibitor area. Those were great opportunities to get demonstrations of latest technologies, exchange industry information with their peers, talk business and enjoy a drink and snack. Also, NRG Events provided the 5-star networking luncheons with an abundance of food for more great networking opportunities.

Day 1 and 2 both ended with interactive panel discussions on how the use of simulation in training is essential for the future and how it helps to build the bridge to the next generation, but also on different applications for simulation. A special thank you goes to our Chairmen/Moderators, for day 1: George Dzyacky from RSI and for day 2: Rob Veersma from Gazprom International who both did an excellent job. On day 3 interactive workshops hosted by Yokogawa, TSC Simulation, RSI and IFP Training, where delegates were introduced to more innovative methods and solutions in simulation in an interactive environment. On behalf of NRG Events I would like to thank all our sponsors for this first Oil & Gas Training & Simulation Forum, who believed in this event and have helped us to create the foundation for future events on this topic. It has clearly showed that there is a great need and interest in the industry for an event like this and we are looking forward to build on this success to create our next ones.

So once again, thanks to RSI/IFP Training, Invensys, Siemens, GSE Systems/EduTech/ARI Simulation, TSC Simulation, CM Labs Simulation/M&Z Technology, Simtronics, inprocess, Voovio, Immerse Learning and Yokogawa. We hope you will support us next time again! Also a special thanks to our speakers and delegates who made the effort to be part of this Forum and helped us to create the basis for the next successful Global Oil & Gas Training & Simulation Forum.

Looking Forward to meeting you next year!

Kind Regards!
